Daphnie McLeod, AGACNP-BC

Daphnie McLeod, AGACNP-BC, has a deep commitment to gastrointestinal (GI) and colorectal health. Originally from Valdosta, Georgia, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Valdosta State University in 2014. She spent several years honing her clinical skills before relocating to Atlanta in 2017, where she worked closely with GI and colorectal specialists at the Piedmont Atlanta Endoscopy Lab for seven years. During this time, Daphnie developed a strong passion for GI and colorectal health, particularly in the areas of screening, prevention, and surgical management of colorectal cancer.

Her dedication to the field was further solidified in 2021, when she became a Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN). Daphnie’s personal connection to colorectal cancer, having lost her father to the disease in 2013, drives much of her professional focus. She is deeply committed to improving patient outcomes through education, early screening, and providing high-quality care.

In 2024, Daphnie completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Alabama Birmingham, further advancing her expertise and enabling her to serve patients as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). She was recruited to join Piedmont Colorectal Associate shortly after. Daphnie’s passion for colorectal health continues to guide her work as she strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and hosting friends and family.
