In 2007, she moved to Georgia where she provided care for colorectal patients admitted to Piedmont Hospital for nearly a decade. She then received her Master’s degree with Honors from Vanderbilt University and became certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She was recruited by Piedmont Colorectal Associates in 2014. This experience has enabled her to develop a broad knowledge and skill set of both office-based and inpatient surgical disorders affecting colorectal health. She splits her time between treating patients in the clinic as well as surgical assisting in the operating room. She was certified as a robotic surgical assistant in 2015 and has assisted on hundreds of robotic surgeries. In the clinic, she treats a wide range of anorectal conditions including condyloma, hemorrhoids, pruritis, anal fissures, abscesses/fistula, pilonidal cysts, and fecal incontinence. She is accepting new patients at the Piedmont Atlanta location.

Having a special interest in the management of HPV, Megan also led the expansion of High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) in the office in 2018. HRA is an integral part of the current recommendations for diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of anal condyloma and anal dysplasia.

In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
