David Gallerani, MPH, PA-C
David Gallerani, MPH, PA-C was born in North Carolina, grew up in Connecticut, and attended the University of South Carolina where he received both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology as well as a Master of Public Health degree. His Master’s degree emphasized health promotion, education, and behavioral aspects of health. He worked in cancer research for three years before moving to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a Physician Assistant/Associate degree. He is excited to have begun his career with Piedmont Colorectal Associates in 2023. David’s prior experience working with patients with cancer, a focus on health promotion, and a strong passion for GI and surgery has enabled him to develop a broad knowledge and skill set of both office-based and inpatient surgical disorders affecting colorectal health. He splits his time between treating patients in the clinic as well as surgical assisting in the operating room. In the clinic, he treats a wide range of anorectal conditions including hemorrhoids, fissures, pruritis, abscesses/fistula, pilonidal cysts, and fecal incontinence. He is accepting new patients at the Piedmont Atlanta location.
In his free time, David enjoys oil painting, the outdoors, playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
